Day 135 - Look at me, I'm Driving the Boat (& More Onesies)

We have been working around the lake today and one of the last things we did was take the boat for a ride.

I got to drive and it was my first time in my parents boat and my first time ever driving a boat by myself.

So much fun! Now if the weather would just start acting like summer we would be all set.

Other Firsts: I have been working on more booties & more onesies. Today I finished the last stitch on one of the onesies to complete these two sets for my friends new baby girls, Tiffany (Veronica) & Stacy (Caroline)

Just like my first set, I designed & cut out the patterns following the same process as last time and backed them and ironed them in place

(Also, like my first set, I chose the fabric to match the yarn I used for the booties)

I am really happy with how each of them turned out.

I was originally planning to sew in antennas to the butterfly, but decided with the busy fabric to keep it simple.

The flower was a bit more work because I was having so much trouble drawing a flower with petals I liked, I finally ended up making a single petal pattern and cutting out and placing each petal individually to make the flower.

This took a little extra time, but the results were worth it.

I can't wait to see those sweet little girls in my creations :)

  1. Those are seriously so cute. You really should open an etsy store!
