Day 153 - Taste, the restaurant

My Brother was in town again tonight :)

After we hung out a bit he headed to a friends house and Quinn and I had a late dinner. We went to Taste, in old Overland Park.

It was wonderful. The menu had a great variety.

We decided to try a few of the small plates and share them so we could 'taste' as much as possible. Plus we had a coupon, which always makes everything better :)

We started with the fresh mozzarella and tomato salad

I think the most interesting & unique selection we had was the crispy shitake rangoon phyllo pillows (which also happened to be my favorite)

Then we tried the calamari, with 3 different sauces

We also had a side of the lobster risotto which was rich & creamy and delicious. The last thing we ordered was the lobster & crab crepes, they were so yummy, but a little too rich after everything else we ate.

By the end of dinner we were too full for dessert, but their dessert 'tastes' sounded wonderful and we both decided we need to make a point to go back soon - just for dessert!
