Day 170 - Jack Gage

I love the weekends . . . even when it's raining outside :)

Today Quinn and I had big plans for working outside - but the weather had other ideas, so we decided to spend our Saturday out running errands and to try a new restaurant for lunch.

We decided to go to Jack Gage. It was neat atmosphere and an interesting menu. We started with the fried green tomato & crab tower - it was delicious.

Then we shared some minestrone soup

And the lobster mac & cheese. Both were pretty good - the mac & cheese was our least favorite . . . we couldn't help but compare it to the lobster mac & cheese at the Capitol Grille (so amazing!).

I felt like the menu was a little over priced, but am glad we tried it out. We caught some world cup soccer and had a nice time. Plus once we left - the rain had let up and the skies were blue.

So we spent the rest of our afternoon running our errands around town, with the jeep top down - enjoying the sunshine (and not working in the yard) :)
