Day 44 - The Saddest Heart I've ever seen (a heart-shapped pizza)

After a quick, one night trip to Omaha, we headed back to KC later this afternoon. It was just after 7:30 when we were almost home - Quinn and I had already decided we were going to a movie later in the evening, so I was running out of time to get something new in for the day - when it hit me, HEART SHAPED PIZZA! I mean what is Valentines without some 'cheesy' touches (he he).

We called in an ordered to Papa Johns and decided we would just pick it up on our way home. When Quinn was talking to the person taking the order it was pretty funny. We got the pizza, checked it in the car to make sure it was a heart-shaped and couldn't help but laugh at the sad, heart formed into a pizza

As you can see our pizza was much more rounded (it looked like they just took a regular round pizza pan and smooched a dent in the top to make the curves in the heart then pulled the other end to a point to make the tip of heart, as a matter of fact, I am almost certain this is all they did - I could of pulled off a better heart-shaped pizza at home). We each had a slice (at least it tasted pretty good) and then headed out to the movie.


Other First: We saw the movie Valentines Day and despite most of the reviews - we liked it. It was light, funny & sweet. We also went for the Fork & Screen experience again (it will be hard to watch a movie any other way - we are getting hooked)
